David Smith SBCS TRS
David started his career as an HVAC service Technician and went to Lincoln Technical Institute in Union NJ to learn his trade. He worked in the field for 10 years servicing and installing Boilers, Air Conditioning systems, Heat Pumps and at the age of 30 took the opportunity to get involved in the insurance industry. He started his insurance career as a personal lines insurance agent and took his knowledge of the HVAC business and started insuring the blue-collar work force. In March of 2000, he started the KD Smith Insurance Agency with his wife Kim and expanded from blue collar to larger commercial businesses and eventually into the transportation industry. He has developed a true passion for the trucking industry and reads everything he can find on the subject. He is one of the most knowledgeable people in the Lehigh Valley when it comes to Trucking Insurance. In his free time, he enjoys Cooking, playing acoustic guitar, walking his Dog Zoey, Reading, riding motorcycles, Camping, and saving money doing his own home improvement projects.

Sarra Taylor SBCS, WCCS, AGLS
Sarra has been all over the board as an agent. From regular personal home and auto, she has grown to use her experience in the heating, plumbing and contracting world to become somewhat of an expert in helping contractors and small businesses find what is truly going to work for them. Based on a vast knowledge of what our company partners have to offer, she helps both the average person looking to cover their own hard-earned amenities, to contractors and small businesses finding exactly what they need to make sure they are properly protected. She has earned the nationally recognized Small Business Coverage Specialist (SBCS) Designation, her Workers’ Compensation Coverage Specialist (WCCS) certification, more recently her Advanced General Liability Specialist (AGLS) certification, and continually strives to learn more about all aspects of the industry and what it may have to offer. Besides reading underwriting guidelines and policy forms (not a joke, she really does read that boring material for fun), there are many things she enjoys doing with her family including spending time outdoors, camping and cooking. She takes an active roll as a volunteer and leader in various 4H Clubs and Programs, as well as showing she’s her son’s biggest fan when it comes to sports.

She has a passion for all humanity and enjoys helping others. She has a very competitive spirit and will go the extra mile for her clients to make sure that everything is as near perfect as it can be. Ana has a real thirst for knowledge and has attained her Transportation Risk Specialist insurance designation. In her spare time, she enjoys doing hair, spending quality time with her family, traveling and loves to sing.
